Art has always been my voice, allowing expression of emotion, soul and memory.

Layer, movement, line, shadow and light inhabit my paintings. Energetic to calmly contemplative, strong compositions blend and define color, edge, and object.

My current work is primarily acrylic, with elements of mixed media, textile art, graphite, and oil pastel.

Developing and finding a larger, more expressive visual vocabulary allows me to challenge my own artistic boundaries to give greater voice to my inner self and relate to and express the inner voices of others.
